The term “military grade” when applied to objects and terms that also dwell within the civilian sector speaks to a level of lethality that effectiveness that is appropriate for the rugged and demanding environment of the combat theater. A military grade Personal Data Assistant (PDA), for example, has modifications that allow it to continue to operate in environments where it: withstands the physical shocks of being dropped; sunken in mud; and/or submersed in water.

Likewise, the movie “The Men Who Stare at Goats” offers a glimpse into the US Military’s application of Mind Force psychic/psi training and techniques taken from the esoteric, and given precision and application for field use. In this sense, the goal of “military grade” psi-related abilities is not simply associated with power and [potential] lethality and accuracy, but also a level of control and repeatability. Predicted results are the cornerstone of a scientific method; without said reliability and repeatability, any psi capabilities would, in effect, become “happenstance” or “chance occurrences”. We know better.
